
Jennifer Wood, founder and
president of Jenny’s Country Kitchen, is an award-winning food and nutrition professional (registered dietitian). Wood graduated with a Bachelor’s
degree in nutrition science (pre med) from the University of Nebraska –
Lincoln in 2001. Wood then completed a dietetic internship in 2007. She went on to complete her master’s
degree in 2011 in nutrition, with a minor in food science also from the
University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Jennifer has been featured on the TV Food
Network, in Minnesota Business magazine, in Taste of Home magazine, and in Country
Business magazine. She is a Certified Food Manager and has worked extensively with
local media promoting healthy eating. Wood understands how busy today’s
families are and believes that great tasting, easy to use, and make-ahead
recipes can make it easy for busy families to eat healthy.
